Lifestyle, a successful career in fashion, and independence are the pillars for the foundation of the luxury jewelry and accessory company, owned by Cindy G called AtelierCG.  After leaving a fashion company that she co-owned and managed with her ex-husband and also oversaw the creative process, Cindy G. was determined to start over again, only this time setting her own terms. The name Atelier holds significant meaning: Atelier represents the studio and the letters CG are Cindy’s initials.

Currently the collection consists of jewelry and handbags that are hand-made in the United States. Each design is inspired by activities in Cindy G’s everyday life, from playing with her children to cleaning bridles and saddles. Expands Cindy G, “ I’m also inspired by the energy and different characters of the horses. I love the elegance of the English tack and the gypsy feeling of a free spirit when using Western tack.”

Each piece of jewelry is made by hand and constructed from high quality metals including stainless steel, sterling silver, brass, and silver coated nickel free metal. AtelierCG’s signature piece is the Bandit Stud Chain bracelet that is constructed in the style of a curb chain and is even more special because it eliminates waste as it is finished with remnant leather used to create the brand’s handbags and pouches. The 2016 fall/winter collection is continuing to innovate and elevate by expanding to include black stainless steel in combination with gold and silver.

Cindy G. works with a family owned leather factory in downtown Los Angeles to create each AtelierCG handbag, pouch and tote. A distinct characteristic of the brand’s look is that each bag is raw cut meaning that the edges are unfinished. Cindy G explains, “ Most of the leathers are organically treated and the reason behind this is a message I like to send: In today’s Western world, we focus too much on how we look, what about how we feel, the person who is deep inside. What about our true selves? I believe we are all beautiful in our own unique way. Nobody and nothing is perfect. So, in my bags you will see the marking of the animal, unfinished seams and English riding reins used for the shoulder straps.”
